The JAPER API delivers advanced security capabilities for modern applications, enabling the seamless transfer of data for encryption, decryption, and validation processes. Designed with a RESTful architecture, the API provides endpoints for secure device management, immutable data handling, encrypted command execution, and validation, ensuring the integration of robust, scalable security features.

Using a JSON Schema, the API generates JAPER Outcomes: secure, structured responses based on user interactions or system commands. These Outcomes are authenticated through API Keys, AIDs (Application Identifiers), and DIDs (Device Identifiers) and include actionable, tamper-proof elements such as barcodes, augmented reality assets, or user-specific encrypted content. This design ensures compliance, data integrity, and scalability.

The JAPER App operates as a thin client, designed to interpret JAPER Outcomes into dynamic, interactive user experiences. It converts structured, unalterable JSON data into secure real-time displays such as augmented reality interfaces, validation prompts, or encrypted messages. By enforcing strict access controls, caching rules, and expiration policies, the App ensures consistency and prevents data tampering during interactions.

This integration between the JAPER API and the JAPER App establishes a secure, real-time pipeline for processing and rendering data. The API handles encryption, command validation, and the generation of tamper-proof data, while the App transforms this data into intuitive, secure user interfaces. Together, they enable developers to create cutting-edge, secure applications with guaranteed data integrity.
